Two leopards were safely captured and relocated back into their natural forest home #shorts #viral

In Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, foresters and veterinarians joined forces to achieve a critical conservation success story.

Two leopards, who had strayed into a village causing panic, were safely captured and relocated back into their natural forest home.

This humane approach, known as safe capture and translocation, is vital for resolving human-wildlife conflict and protecting endangered species.

IAS Supriya Sahu shared this video on X: “Kudos to the local villagers for their support and to the Forest staff for the successful rescue and release of the leopards.”
